Ahmed Mubarak Mohammed obtained his first degree in Public Administration at the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria.
Mubarak Ahmed has worked in various organizations and in various capacities.
Mubarak Ahmed is a self-motivated and hardworking individual with experience in all aspects of the upstream, downstream and Marketing.
He has initiative and has a good leadership quality and motivates other staff to achieve the company objectives. He is an effective communicator at all levels within the organisation, has analytical skills, and is very good at solving problems.
Abdulhamid Aliyu is a results-driven Chief Executive Officer and Business Leader with over thirty five (35) years working experience in the Private and Public sector in the areas of Development Banking, Investment Banking, Energy and Oil and Gas.
He was born on April 8, 1963 in Yola, Adamawa State. He attended the University of Maiduguri where he graduated with BSc Economics in 1987.
Abdulhamid Aliyu is a Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialist (UK), Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Certified Management Consultant, Certified Management Specialist with Distinction in Time Management by the London Graduate School, Doctor of Business Administration Oil and Gas (Honoris Causa), IMS African Business Club award of Leadership Excellence, Member African Business Club (MABC).
He started his career with the Nigerian Agricultural & Cooperative Bank in 1988 as an Investments Officer after the mandatory NYSC and later worked with numerous institutions such as HB Investment & Finance Limited as Manager in charge of Investments, Continental Merchant Bank/NISL, and Alpha Securities Limited/Alpha Merchant Bank where he rose to the position of Deputy Manager/Head Capital Market in 1993. He then moved to Fairholme Investment (Nig.) Limited as GM/COO between 1995 – 2000.
He was the Country Director, Agrid Nigeria Limited from 2000 to 2007. In 2007 he was appointed the Special Assistant (SA) to the Presidential Adviser on Energy and Strategic Matters, and held the positions Deputy Director/Special Assistant to the Minister of Petroleum Resources from 2008 - 2010 and Director/Coordinator Nigeria - Brazil Energy Cooperation at the National Energy Council from 2010 - 2011.
Abdulhamid moved to the NNPC in 2011 in the NIKORMA Transport Division, (NNPC LNG Shipping JV) and was General Manager Nikorma in 2012, and later acting Managing Director NIDAS Marine (NNPC Crude Oil & Products Shipping Joint Venture). In 2014, he was transferred to Planning, Regulatory and Policy Compliance Division of the NNPC. He held various positions including General Manager, Commercial, NNPC Pipelines and Storage Company in 2016, and General Manager, Commercial, Renewable Energy Division in 2016. In 2017 he was appointed Group General Manager Renewable Energy Division of the NNPC. In July 2019 he was redeployed as Group General Manager Supply Chain Management Division and Secretary NNPC Tenders Board.
In March 2020, Abdulhamid Aliyu was redeployed to NNPC Oilfield Services Limited (a subsidiary of the NNPC) as Managing Director, and retired from service on April 8, 2023 having attained the statutory age of 60 years.
He is a member of many professional bodies including Nigerian Chartered Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Institute of Management Consultants, Institute of Management Specialist, and is a Certified Management Consultant.
He has attended several trainings globally and earned various certifications in the fields of Finance, Management, Oil & Gas. Additionally, he was a Nigerian delegate to several Organisation of Petroleum Conference (OPEC) Conferences and Meetings. He is happily married with children.
